Roddie was admitted to the bar in May 2005, after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Management Studies at the University of Waikato. Roddie was practicing as a barrister in Hamilton, New Zealand for a number of years before he decided to move to Franklin to carry on his practice there.

Roddie is experienced in criminal law and family law. Roddie has conducted numerous trials and hearings, achieving great results for his clients. Roddie appears frequently in both the Family and District Courts and is appointed by the Court to act for children in all Family Court proceedings.

Roddie is committed to working hard with clients to achieve the best outcome possible for each and ever client, no matter what their financial or personal situation is.

Hannah Rawnsley

Barrister

Hannah was admitted to the bar in August 2018 after completing her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Waikato. She was raised in Franklin, Auckland alongside her three younger siblings.

Hannah specialises in all areas of family law, where she assists her clients in finding practicable and realistic solutions regarding child care and custody, family violence and separation matters, including the division of relationship property. Whether you require representation to reach an amicable agreement through private negotiations or robust representation litigating in the Court room, Hannah can help.

In addition to family law, Hannah also practices criminal defence, representing a number of clients facing charges arising from drug related crimes, violent crimes, driving and dishonesty offences.  

Hannah provides compassionate and assertive representation to a variety of clients facing difficult issues.
